“I love the professionalism of this office.”
Ramon Leal Sixtos
Staff Accountant
Ramon Leal Sixtos was raised on California’s beautiful central coast. After high school, he planned to go to college, but a mix up with his name caused his financial support to be denied.
Frustrated, he went into retail sales instead. He spent several years working in various places including Las Vegas. Eventually, he decided to get serious about his future. That’s when he enrolled at California State University, Fresno. By this time, the name mix up problem had been resolved.
He graduated with a BS in Accounting in May of 2023 and, soon after, he landed his job at Martin C. Garcia Accountancy, Inc.
As a new staffer, Ramon is working and gaining invaluable experience on a wide variety of accounts. He especially remembers the first tax return he e-filed. “It was very satisfying,” he said.
Currently, Ramon is working toward getting his CPA and IRS Enrolled Agent certifications.
Ramon noted the decor of our office and the way people dress. “I love the professionalism of this office,” he said.
Ramon’s first job was working at McDonald’s. He was so excited to get his first paycheck; he bought a cell phone and used up all his “minutes” in one day!
When not working, Ramon enjoys working out, traveling, and eating at good restaurants.
